Longquan area
Longquan district is a town (area) under the jurisdiction of Mentougou District, Beijing. It is located in the southeast of the district. It is located in the mid mountain area, high in the West and low in the East. It is backed by Jiulong Mountain, adjacent to Yongding River in the East, and 24 kilometers away from the city center. It is adjacent to Yongding town and tanzhesi town in the south, Wangping town in the west, Miaofengshan town in the northwest, Junzhuang town in the north and wulitun and Mayu village in Shijingshan District in the East.

With a long history, Mentougou was an important road leading to the West in various dynasties. With the development of coal mining industry, the name of Mentougou was widely spread as early as the Ming Dynasty. Before 1949, Mentougou town was set up in Wanping county. After liberation, Mentougou town was set up. In 1958, it belonged to Mentougou commune, changed to township in 1984, and built Longquan town in 1990. In 1996, it covers an area of 48.5 square kilometers and has a population of 28000. It governs 18 administrative villages in Dayu, Chengzi, Longquanwu, Liuliqu, Sanjiadian, donglongmen, xilongmen, dongxinfang, xixingfang, Shigang, huashidao, Zhongmen temple, mentoukou, yuejiapo, tianqiaofu, lalahu, zhaojiawa and Sandian, and 18 administrative villages in Houjie, Dongjie, Beijie, Xijie, Qianjie, Zhongjie, new dormitory and old dormitory There are 21 neighborhood committees in Xinjian Road, Xinhua Road, dongpai, XiPai, Huabei Road, Xining Road, donglaodian, xilaodian, Xinhe Road, Longquanwu, Yexi, Liuliqu and Nanjie.
