Ziyun street is located in the center of Nanping City, Fujian Province, with Jiefang Road, Shengli Street, Gulou Street and Sanyuan road under its jurisdiction. It governs 13 communities.

It is the seat of the district Party committee and the district government. It is the political, commercial, cultural, educational and sports center of the district. In 1948, it belonged to Chaoxiang Town, in 1949, it belonged to the first district of Nanping County, in 1958, it belonged to Yanping commune of Nanping City, and in 1982, it was rebuilt into Ziyun street. In 1997, it covers an area of 6.5 square kilometers. With a population of 42000, it administers 11 neighborhood committees including Zhonghua, Huangjinshan, Huaguang, Gulou, Shengli, Qianjin, Sanyuan, Wenti, Jianjin, Liufang and Sanguantang.

There are more than 300 large and small units in the jurisdiction, including 117 provincial, municipal and district level civilized units in the ninth session, 45 member units of the party construction joint conference, and 128 units jointly building spiritual civilization. The street has 13 community neighborhood committees, 1 vegetable brigade and 53174 people (2010).

Street profile

The CPC Working Committee governs 31 party branches (1 organ Party branch, 13 retirement management party branches, 13 Community Neighborhood Committee Party branches, and 4 non-public enterprise party branches), with 921 party members, including 464 retired party members, 332 laid-off reemployment party members, 68 mobile party members, and 3008 "dual management" party members. In 1995, the street established Jinshan Industrial Park in Dongmen vegetable brigade area under the jurisdiction of Nanping Ring Road, covering an area of more than 400 mu. By the first half of 2007, 13 enterprises had entered the park, including (2 projects under construction, 1 new project under construction and 1 preliminary reserve project). 　

Community construction

Ziyun street is located in the central area of Nanping, bordering on Binjiang Road and Meishan street culture and publicity neighborhood committee in the East, Zizhi lane, Jianjianling and Sihe Street Yanfu and Zhoujin neighborhood committee in the south, Huancheng Road in the West and the north foot of Huancheng Road in the north. The sub district office is located at 273 Bayi Road, Nanping City (next to Nanping Industrial and commercial bureau). Named after ziyungang. It has jurisdiction over 13 community residents committees and Dongmen vegetable brigade, including Wenti, Liufang, Jianjin, Zhonghua, Huangjinshan, Huaguang, Gulou, Shengli, Qianjin, Yuda, Hengda, Sanguantang, Sanyuan, and 221 residents groups, with a total population of 53174 (2010). The residents are Han nationality, some of them speak Putonghua, some of them speak northern dialect island and Fuzhou dialect.

In Qing Dynasty, there were Sanyuan, Beimen, Tianhe, Yingxian, Meifeng, etc. During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to Chaoxiang town. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belongs to the first district. In 1958, Yanping people's commune was established, which is called Ziyun district. In 1982, it was renamed as one of the six streets under the jurisdiction of the former Nanping City (county) urban working committee. In 1991, the city working committee was abolished and put under the jurisdiction of Nanping Municipal Government (county level). In 1995, Yanping District government was under the jurisdiction of Yanping District People's government. At present, there are more than 300 administrative institutions within the jurisdiction. There are 13 general Party branches, 31 party branches and 936 party members. Among them, there are 4 non-public enterprise party branches under the street party working committee, with 21 party members. Ziyun street is located in the most prosperous area in the center of the city. Bayi Road, Jiefang Road, ring center and inner ring road run through the whole area. It has unique geographical location and convenient transportation. It belongs to mid subtropical seasonal climate, with short winter, long summer, humid and foggy.

Rapid development of various social undertakings: social security, family planning, peace building, environmental health and other social undertakings have made steady progress and achieved remarkable results.
