Linxia forest farm is located at the south foot of Yuanshan mountain in the northwest of Longhai District, Zhangzhou City, bordering Pinghe and Nanjing counties, only 8 kilometers away from the center of Zhangzhou city. Founded in 1950, it is one of the first state-owned forest farms established in Fujian Province after the founding of new China. Now it is a subordinate unit of Zhangzhou Forestry Bureau.

After years of continuous introduction and cultivation, the forest volume of the forest farm now reaches 190000 cubic meters, the forest coverage rate is 74.4%, and the greening degree is 91.4%. There are 917 species of plants suitable for the growth of Southern Fujian, including trees, flowers, grass, etc., belonging to 74 families, of which 53 species belong to the national level three or above protected plants and precious tree species, such as sunken trees Dalbergia odorifera, Dalbergia odorifera, Fokienia hodginsii, Cyperus henryi, Phoebe bournei, Taxus chinensis, Putao ginkgo, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, etc. are precious plant gene treasure houses in Zhangzhou city.

Organization setup

Longhai forest state-owned forest farm, founded in 1950, is a branch level public institution with differential funding, and a subordinate unit of Zhangzhou Forestry Bureau. The site is located in the Shanwei work area of the forest farm under the forest of Jiuhu town.
