Chiling She nationality township is located in the northeast of Zhangpu County, Fujian Province. It has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages and 6 farms including Chiling, Shiyi, Shanping, Shikeng, Dahang, TUTA, Qianyuan, youkeng and Yangmei.

In 2017, the administrative area was 99.31 square kilometers, with 11872 permanent residents.

Historical evolution

In the Song Dynasty, Chiling belonged to qinxianli, the hometown of guests; in the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to changqingli, the 28th capital; in the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to zhangkengbao, the 28th capital. During the period of the Republic of China, Chiling township was established and later merged into Huxi township. after the founding of new China, Chiling belonged to the Sixth District, and the district office was located in Chihu. In 1952, it was assigned to the Tenth District, and the district office was in the west of lake. In 1956, it was assigned to guanxun District, where the district office was located.
