Fujian Meilie Economic Development Zone

Fujian Meilie economic development zone is located in the west of Sanming City, 10km away from the city. The interchange of Quansan expressway is set beside Xiaojiao. The urban area and Xiaojiao (secondary) highway have been opened to traffic, becoming an important transportation hub in and out of the urban area, and the traffic is very convenient.

The development of Xiaojiao industrial zone is one of the contents of Sanming City master plan. There is no need to make too much adjustment in administrative division and land use. Now it has a good industrial foundation. As an industrial zone, it is easy to form a consensus and promote common development. According to the general plan, the hills and agricultural land above 400 meters above sea level are classified as construction land, and most of the mountains will be used as developable land, which occupies less agricultural land, has low land acquisition cost, saves investment and is conducive to development.

The total planned land area is 5.2 square kilometers, including 274.63 hectares of industrial land with a population of 30000. With a total investment of 2 billion yuan, the park plans to introduce dozens of large-scale enterprises in metallurgy, machinery, building materials and chemical industry.

In order to cultivate new economic growth points, Meilie district Party committee and government take Sanming municipal Party committee and government's urban development strategy of "extending from south to north, expanding from west to East" as the goal, and take the construction of Quanzhou Sanming expressway as the opportunity. Meilie economic development zone should be included in Ruiyun Industrial Park "one park and four districts" as an important measure to solve the shortage of industrial land in the city and district, and a powerful grasp to broaden the urban development space.
