Gongqiao Township, belonging to Funan County, Fuyang City, Anhui Province, is located 6.5km southwest of Funan County, on the North Bank of the middle reaches of the Huaihe River, belonging to the Honghe River flood area. It has jurisdiction over 19 administrative villages and 282 villager groups with a land area of 42.8 square kilometers, cultivated land of 55000 Mu and a population of 46000.
