Cangzhen
Cang Town, subordinate to Dingyuan County, Anhui Province, is full name of Cang Town, formerly known as laoniucang and laolaolaocang. It mainly produces rice, spring wheat, peanut, sesame, soybean and so on. It is a big agricultural town.

Cang town is located at the back of the Yangtze Huaihe River watershed, 15 kilometers southeast of Dingcheng. It borders Dingcheng town in the north, Daqiao Township in the south, Zhuma village in otang town in the East, Yanqiao Township and Gaotang village in Zhangqiao town across the river in the West.

geographical position
Cang town is located at the back of the Yangtze Huaihe River watershed, 12 kilometers southeast of Dingcheng. It is connected with Outang in the East, bridge in the south, Zhangqiao in the west, Erlong in the north, Dingcheng in the north, and County Road Jieyi Road (x040 line) passes through the town from the north to the south.
Geology and geomorphology
Cang town terrain from north to south, low-lying on both sides, saddle shaped, a big hill in the middle, belongs to hilly areas. The engineering geological conditions of the whole town are as follows: the higher hill and slope land is the best, the plain land is the second, and the silting land is the worst. The foundation bearing capacity is generally 10-20 tons / m2.

hydrology
Cang town belongs to the Huaihe River Basin, which involves Chi River and maqiaoba river. Chi river originates from the south foot of Fengyang mountain on the northwest border of Dingyuan County, with Shuanglong spring in Dading mountain and Gushi spring at the foot of Dongjia mountain as its East and West sources. The flow direction starts from northwest to Southeast, and lianjiang Town, which reaches the southern boundary of the county, turns to southwest to northeast. Chi river is in the shape of "U" in Dingyuan county. After leaving sanheji County, it flows into Nushan Lake of Mingguang City through Meishi city at the junction of Dingyuan, Fengyang and Mingguang, and finally into Huaihe River. The total length of the county is 130 kilometers, with a drainage area of 2240 square kilometers, accounting for 77.5% of the county's drainage area. Cangdong River, a tributary of Chi River, originates from a pond on the east side of xiaolizhuang, Cangzhen. It flows through Cangdong reservoir in the south, turns southeast, and enters the trunk through cangdongji and taohuzhuang, with a total length of 15 km. 2. Maqiaoba River, with a total length of 4.5 km, originates from Dingyuan county's domestic water and upstream water collection, and finally flows into Chi river. The main river course is north-south, with normal water level of 33.3 m, annual maximum water level of 34.0 m, minimum water level of 32.1 m, average bottom width of 5 m, bottom elevation of 30 m, and design flood control standard of 50 years
Historical evolution
Cang town is named after Cang town. Cang town is a natural market town, formerly known as "laorencang". According to legend, it was originally the granary of blue jade, an important official in the early Ming Dynasty. It was under the care of an old man, so it was named "old man granary". Before liberation, it was one of the "eight towns" in Dingyuan County, so it was also known as "Cang town". There is a gathering on the first and sixth day of the lunar calendar every month. People gather around a hundred miles and trade extensively. Laolaocang district was set up in June 1949, and Cangzhen township was set up after the founding of the people's Republic of China. In 1956, Cangzhen was a senior agricultural society. In 1958, Cangzhen was merged with Cangnan, Zhangxiang, Guansi and other senior agricultural societies to form Cangzhen people's commune. It was named "Hongzhen" in 1966 and restored to its original name in 1971. In 1984, it was renamed Cangzhen township. In 1992, Guansi Township and Nandian Township were merged into Cangzhen township. In December 2001, Guansi township was incorporated into Cang town as the current jurisdiction area. It has jurisdiction over 6 administrative villages and 2 neighborhood committees, including cangbei village, Cangnan village, huiminyang village, Erlang village, Guansi village, Yanghu village, Cangzhen neighborhood committee and Guansi neighborhood committee. It has 214 villager groups and 7916 households, mostly Han nationality. The minority Hui people live in huimincun and Cangzhen streets. The town has a population of 32534, including 1380 non-agricultural population.

Among them, 6931.45 hectares of cultivated land, accounting for 60.01% of the total area of the town, 0.38 hectares of cultivated land per capita of rural population, 4727.29 hectares of paddy field, accounting for 68.2% of the cultivated land, and 2204.16 hectares of dry land, accounting for 31.8% of the cultivated land. The garden area is 19.81 hectares, accounting for 0.17% of the total area of the town. The forest area is 35.65 hectares, accounting for 0.31% of the total area of the town. There are 0.16 hectares of pasture land, 2078.9 hectares of water surface, accounting for 18.0% of the total area of the town, including 83.92 hectares of river water surface, accounting for 4.04% of the total area of water surface, 811.17 hectares of reservoir water surface, accounting for 39.02% of the total area of water surface, and 1183.82 hectares of pond water surface, accounting for 57.0% of the total area of water surface. 2. Construction land is 2505.84 hectares, accounting for 21.70% of the total area of the town. Water resources
Cang town of Dingyuan county is located in the back of the Yangtze Huaihe River watershed. It is prone to drought due to serious water shortage. In most areas, the surface is covered with thick cohesive soil or poor permeability fractured rock. Only a small area of carbonate rock outcrops. Most of the area is short of water. The total amount of groundwater is only 186 million cubic meters. There are 45 deep drinking wells in the town, and Cang town has a waterworks with a daily water supply of 10 tons. The drinking water problem of the whole town has been fundamentally improved. There are two state-owned medium-sized reservoirs in Cangdong and Xiaoli, two small (I) reservoirs in guanjin and Guantang, and nine small (II) reservoirs in cangbei, Longxin, daxintang, Xietang, zhengjiaba, Xiaoluo, wengtang, Caotang and Cangxi. Each villager group has its own dam. The town has a total water area of 2382.5 hectares. The effective irrigation area of all water conservancy projects is 2133 hectares, which basically alleviates the adverse impact of water shortage and drought on agricultural production.

1. Plant resources trees: mainly apple, peach, persimmon, etc. Crops: A, grain: rice, wheat, beans, Shanwei, corn and so on. b. Oil: peanut, rape, etc. c. Economic crops: cotton. In 2006, the total grain output of the town was 41227 tons, and the total oil output was 1819 tons. 2. Animal resources poultry: chickens, ducks, geese, etc.; livestock: pigs, cattle, sheep, dogs, etc.; aquatic products: fish, shrimps, etc.
tourist resources
In the north of the territory, Baogong ancestral hall was abandoned, but there are still relics to be found. In the south of the territory, there is the largest tomb group of unknown martyrs of the New Fourth Army in China, the tomb of unknown martyrs in Wangxiao temple. There are 174 tombs in the cemetery, which contain more than 700 officers and soldiers of the New Fourth Army who died during the Anti Japanese war. Wangxiaomiao Tomb of the unknown martyrs is the patriotic education base and national defense education base of Chuzhou City. It has been designated as a national red tourist attraction, receiving more than 10000 tourists annually.

The town has 2 middle schools, 2 central primary schools, 8 village primary schools, 2 Cable TV stations, 1 central health center, 1 community health center, 1 comprehensive market, 1 telecom company and 1 mobile company. By the end of 2006, 6592 program-controlled electricity and 7031 mobile phones had been installed in the town, and the popularization rate of cable TV market towns had reached 100%.
