Jiepai market town

Jiepai market town is located 32 kilometers southeast of Dingyuan county. It is the southeast edge of Dingyuan county. It is located at the junction of four counties (districts). It is adjacent to Nanqiao District in the East, Feidong County in the south, and Quanjiao County in the southeast. It is commonly known as "four counties where chickens sing and dogs bark". Because it is located at the junction of the four counties (districts), it was named Jiepai. In March 1992, the district was removed and the township was merged. The original Jiepai Township and Yongning Township were merged to establish jiepaiji town. The town government is located in jiepaiji town. Jiepaiji town now covers an area of 119.85 square kilometers. It has 8 villagers' committees, 1 neighborhood committee and 197 villagers' groups, with a permanent resident population of 22012 (in 2017), mostly Han nationality and a very small number of Hui nationality. Its people are simple and outstanding.

Economic overview

At present, the contracted cultivated land is 54366 mu, which is a big agricultural town and a land of fish and rice. Rice and wheat are the main crops, and corn, potato, beans and other cereals are also planted. Peanut, rape, sesame, cotton and other economic crops are used. With an annual output of 29.5 million kg of grain and 5 million kg of oil, there are 10 large farmers with more than 100 mu in the town, 60 large farmers with more than 50 pigs, and 30000 pigs in the town. Forest resources are rich. In recent years, efforts have been made to plant trees on the four sides, afforest roads and canals, and return farmland to forests. The area of afforestation has been increasing, accounting for about 30% of the total area. In 2005, the per capita net income of farmers was 2800 yuan. in terms of farmland water conservancy infrastructure, before 1994, water conservancy facilities were weak, water shortage was prone to drought, and the areas along the Chi River Basin were afraid of waterlogging. Since then, investment has been continuously increased every year, such as water conservancy, pond construction, deep excavation of the main pond, channel dredging, river regulation, and reinforcement of small reservoirs. By 2005, there are two state-owned reservoirs in Langfeng and Desheng, three small (I) reservoirs in Jiepai, Dajiang and manzhang, 11 small (II) reservoirs, and more than 600 head dams. The normal annual water storage of the town is more than 20 million cubic meters, which basically meets the needs of crop irrigation. The effective irrigation area is 45000 mu, and the agricultural disaster resistance ability is significantly enhanced. in terms of agricultural mechanization, there are more than 6000 large, medium and small agricultural machines and tillers in the town, including nearly 80 large agricultural machines. The labor intensity of farmers has been greatly reduced and the labor efficiency has been greatly improved.

The traffic is convenient, extending in all directions. The construction of Jiepai section of Chuzhou Liangyuan secondary oil road is being stepped up and is expected to be completed in October 2006. The construction of Zhangqiao Jiepai section of provincial road connecting Hebeng road is stepping up from west to East. Sizhou temple to Langfeng within the county road boundary plate is 9 km long, and the third grade oil road has been completed and opened to traffic. The red tourist road from Jiepai to otang is expected to be built in recent years. The total length of Jiepai Yongning is 11 km, and the fourth grade oil pipeline was completed in 2004. The town has basically realized the village, team through the gravel road. The roads inside and outside the town are crisscross, and the vehicles from Jingjie to Hefei, Chuzhou, Nanjing, Changzhou and Dingyuan are constantly shuttling.
