Qianling town
Qianling township is subordinate to Susong County, Anqing City, Anhui Province. It is located in the central and southern part of Susong County. It is adjacent to Sufu line in the north, surrounded by water in the East, South and West. Its central position is 116 ° 12 ′ E and 30 ° 09 ′ n. Qianling Township, with a total area of 91.47 square kilometers, governs one central market town and 11 central villages, with a population of 38721 (2017). In 2014, the total industrial output value of the township was 312.2 million yuan, and the total financial revenue of the township was 7.2585 million yuan.
Qianling township has a coastline of 50 kilometers, a large lake with a water surface area of more than 70000 Mu and a tidal flat and polder field of more than 30000 mu. It is one of the major aquatic villages along the lake in the county.
History of construction
In 1850, Qianling Township belonged to the four villages of Bauhinia, zhudun, Yixiang and Longhu under the jurisdiction of Nanxiang. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), the area belongs to Muzi Township under the jurisdiction of jiugu district. Muzi township was built after liberation. From October 1949 to May 1950, there was Muzi Township in Susong District, which belonged to the government of jiugu district (also known as the Fourth District). In June 1950, there were six townships in the region, including Maoba Township, Shilong Township, sunling Township, zhudun Township, Helin Township and Qianling Township, belonging to the jiugu district government. On February 27, 1992, jiugu district was abolished, and the four villages of Muzi Township, Xinqian Township and Maoba Township, Pingling, Jinchuan, Maoba and Pinggang, originally belonging to jiugu District, were merged into Qianling township. In May 2004, the original 18 villages were merged into 10 villages, and Yufu village was merged into Qianling Township from jiugu township. Therefore, after the merger, Qianling township has jurisdiction over 11 villages, covering an area of 91.47 square kilometers.

In March 1952, Helin township was changed into Muzi township; in November, Shilong township was changed into Xinqian township; in the same month, fengshu Township and Yufu Township were added (Yufu township was formed by dividing some areas of jiugu township), all of which were subordinate to jiugu district government. In May 1955, fengshu township was abolished and merged into Xinqian township. in 1956, after the merger, half of Xinqian Township and Maoba township (formerly Maoba township) were in the region. In April 1957, Muzi township was restored. In October 1958, people's communes were set up in each township. There are four groups of Maoba commune, Xinqian commune, Muzi commune, all belonging to jiugu district. In January 1960, the township community was changed to the district community system, with Maoba management area, Xinqian management area and Muzi management area, all belonging to jiugu people's commune. In September 1961, the district social system was abolished and the establishment of districts and towns was restored. In August 1968, the Revolutionary Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "Revolutionary Committee") was established, including Maoba commune Revolutionary Committee, Xinqian commune Revolutionary Committee and Muzi commune Revolutionary Committee. In March 1969, Xinqian and Muzi communes were merged into Qianling people's commune. In June 1972, Qianling commune was withdrawn and divided into Xinqian commune and Muzi commune. In April 1984, the Township People's government was restored, including Maoba township government, Xinqian township government and Muzi township government. In 1992, Qianling township was merged into 18 villages, including Jiumiao, Yixiang, Qianling, Zhongxin, Maoba, yinwu, Muzi, Rixin, Pinggang, sunling, zhudun, Wangling, Jinchuan, Qinglong, Pingling, Shapo, Yanling and Xinqian. In May 2004, Susong County carried out village level zoning adjustment. Qianling township has nine Temples: Qianling village, Maoba village, Muzi village, Pinggang village, sunling village, zhudun village, Wangling village, zhangmiao village, Yufu village and Xinqian village.

In terms of geological structure, Qianling township is an inland water basin controlled by the depression under the graben of the Yangtze River. It is a depression composed of Quaternary laterite or Xiashu loess. Under the action of long-term water erosion, the material on the upper part of the terrace is eroded and transported to the first-class attached land for accumulation, and its front is affected by the hydration of lake water fluctuation. At the same time, due to the crustal uplifting movement, the composition of the original lake bottom is exposed. In Qianling Township, there is one Longhu polder with an area of more than 10000 mu, and four ergufan, huangquefan, Xihu polder and hengluzhou with an area of more than 1000 mu, all of which are fluvo aquic soils developed from lacustrine sediments.

Qianling township is located in the north of Suzhou double line, surrounded by water on three sides. Most of the land is a peninsula extending into Longhu. It is a combination area of hills and lakes, with the highest altitude of 31 meters. Qianling township is characterized by undulating hills and alternating fan fields. There are many fan fields near the mountain (ergufan and huangquefan), many polders along the lake (longhuwei, xihuwei and hengluzhou), many dry hills and many paddy fields. In the hilly area, high hills are connected with low hills to form a whole.

The rear end of each lake forms a depression area along the lake. Although the lakes are reclaimed and planted, they are all affected by groundwater, resulting in some ponding and waterlogging. Every year of heavy rain, there are even more disaster areas. Therefore, some areas have returned farmland to lakes and turned to develop aquatic products or aquatic crops.
