In 2011, it was approved as a provincial modern agricultural demonstration zone by Anhui provincial government. In January 2015, approved by the Ministry of agriculture, it was upgraded to a national modern agricultural demonstration zone.

Dangtu modern agricultural demonstration area is located in the eastern suburb of Dangtu County in the east of Anhui Province, radiating from the half-hour urban map of Nanjing. It is close to Ning'an intercity railway and the Dangtu exit of Ma Wu expressway. It is adjacent to the Guxi River, the main stream of the Yangtze River in the South. Provincial highway 314 passes through the area, so the traffic is very convenient.

The project construction of Dangtu modern agricultural demonstration zone was started in 2010 and completed in 2015. Main construction contents: the implementation of the national farmland small water conservancy, agricultural comprehensive development, small water conservancy projects for large grain growers; construction of 157000 square meters of new farmers' villages in the start-up area, 1298 sets of resettlement houses; the framework of main roads in the start-up area. Changhe flower and tree ecological Logistics City project, with a total investment of 600 million yuan, focuses on the construction of high-end flower and tree bonsai ecological logistics market and the establishment of flower and tree trading headquarters economy, with an annual trading volume of 10 billion yuan. Jiaotai wetland aquaculture zone, with an investment of 200 million yuan, mainly constructs leisure fishery sightseeing base, high-end leisure club, special aquaculture demonstration base, etc. Shennong seed industry grain and oil area mainly constructs rice and wheat breeding base and demonstration base of new rice and wheat varieties. The total investment of Futeng agricultural leisure park project is 800 million yuan, mainly including the construction of modern agricultural three-dimensional plantation, wetland breeding Park, farmhouse leisure park, Gushu Guishan leisure experience Park, etc. The total investment of Shicheng bonsai garden project is 600 million yuan, mainly including the construction of modern horticulture high-end bonsai culture park, Huizhou "four carving" exhibition hall, etc.

Investment policy

1、 Investment requirements: the investment scale of the project should be more than 50 million yuan and the land area should be more than 500 mu. Among them: the investment density of characteristic agriculture is not less than 100000 yuan / mu; the investment density of leisure and sightseeing agriculture is not less than 300000 yuan / mu; the investment density of agricultural products intensive processing industry is not less than 1.5 million yuan / mu. Second, land use policy: the land use in Dangtu modern agricultural demonstration zone is mainly leasing. If the project involves supporting construction land, it shall be implemented according to the national policies. The rental price is measured in kind. The annual rent is 700 catties of Medium Indica Rice / mu, which is converted into currency according to the national protection price of Medium Indica Rice in the current year, and is paid once a year. The annual rent of water surface and mountain area is 40% of the farmland rent. The lease term is tentatively 50 years. 3. Preferential policies: after the project is completed and put into operation, preferential tax policies will be given for the first three years. If the annual tax is 1-5 million yuan, 30% of the local actual tax will be returned in the current year; if the annual tax is 5-10 million yuan, 50% of the local actual tax will be returned in the current year; if the annual tax is more than 10 million yuan, the local actual tax will be returned in full in the current year.
