Historical evolution

In 1952, it was Qingshui township of Wanchun district. Wanchun commune was established in 1958, and Qingshui town and Wanchun commune were established successively from 1965 to 1971. Wanchun district was restored in December 1974. In March 1983, the pilot reform of social town system was carried out in 5 communities and 2 towns under the jurisdiction of Wanchun district; in April, Wanchun commune was merged into Qingshui Town, and the village was managed by the town. In 1992, wangguai, Chishan, Dazha and Zhangzhen were merged into Qingshui town. Located in the north of Wuhu County, 20 kilometers away from the county. In 2003, Jingshan Town was abolished and merged into Qingshui town. In February 2006, Qingshui town of Wuhu County (excluding the former Jingshan Town area) was put under the jurisdiction of Jiujiang District of Wuhu City, and the town was changed into Qingshui street. In September 2007, 13 administrative villages of Qingshui street, including Tonghe, Yangqing, Xinmin, Nanxin, zhangguai, Suzi, Xinsheng, Anle, Mulong, Jinhua, Zhongxin, Shenghe and daiduo, were set up as Wanchun street, which was managed by Wuhu Economic and Technological Development Zone.
