Kunshan Town

Kunshan Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Wuwei City, Wuhu City, Anhui Province, is located in the southwest of Wuwei City, at the foot of Sangong mountain, the highest peak in Wuhu City (695 meters above sea level), surrounded by mountains on both sides of the southwest, adjacent to Zongyang and Lujiang counties.

Kunshan Town is a new town established by Wuwei city through "removing villages to establish towns". With the consent of Anhui provincial government, Anhui Provincial Department of Civil Affairs approved Wuwei city to cancel Kunshan Township and establish Kunshan Town.

It has a total area of 107.85 square kilometers (2017), cultivated land of 30000 Mu and mountain farm of 78400 mu; it has jurisdiction over 16 village committees and one huanglongqiao forest farm, with a total population of 25989 (2017).
