LIULANG town

Liu Lang Town, a member of the Wan Ling town of Wuhu, Anhui, is located in the southeast of Wuhu City, the middle of Wuhu City, the middle of Wuhu city. It is surrounded by qingYijiang, Yangjiang and Zhao Yihe. It is linked to the streets of Wan Zhen, Huaqiao, Fang village and Qingshui street. As at 2018, the total area of the town was 111.05 square kilometers, with 19 administrative villages and 2 communities, and 83155 registered residence population in 2018.

With flat terrain, dense water network and humid climate, LIULANG town is a typical land of fish and rice. In history, it was once a place with abundant water and grass, where turtledoves gathered. With the migration of immigrants, the earth was built into a Polder, and the 13 polders, large and small, were finally connected into one. In November 2017, LIULANG town was awarded the fifth national civilized village. In September 2018, it was selected into the list of demonstration construction of strong agricultural towns. In October 2019, LIULANG town was selected as one of the "Top 1000 towns with comprehensive strength in China in 2019".

Historical evolution

In 1955, Baofeng, Yitai, Zhenghe, zhougao, Xianbao and other townships were built.

In 1958, it belonged to Dongfeng commune, and later set up Baofeng, Yitai, Zhenghe, zhougao, Xianbao, etc.

In 1997, Baofeng township was abolished and LIULANG town was established, with the town government stationed in LIULANG; Yitai township was abolished and Yitai town was established, with the town government stationed in Yingang.

In 2003, the original LIULANG Town, zhougao Town, Zhenghe Township, Yitai town and Xianbao town merged into LIULANG town.

On July 6, 2020, Wuhu County will be abolished and wan'ao District of Wuhu City will be established. The former administrative region of Wuhu County will be the administrative region of wan'ao District, which belongs to LIULANG town.

LIULANG town is located in the southeast of Wuhu City, in the middle of Wanzhou District of Wuhu City, surrounded by Qingyi River, Shuiyang River and Zhaoyi River, and connected with Wanzhou Town, Huaqiao Town, Fangcun town and Qingshui street of Jiujiang district. The total area of the town is 111.05 square kilometers, 11 kilometers away from the urban area of Wanzhou District of Wuhu City. The whole area is dominated by plains and belongs to subtropical monsoon climate.

Baxian island ecological leisure area is located in the southeast of LIULANG Town, only 10 kilometers away from Wuhu City. The lake area is more than 1500 mu. There are eight small islands with different landscapes and different areas. The big island is more than 300 mu, and the small island is more than 10 mu.

Dagang is located about 6 kilometers southwest of liulangji Town, with a total area of more than 2200 mu. It is divided into East port and northwest port, of which the northwest port accounts for four fifths. It is horn shaped, with a maximum width of more than 200 meters and a maximum depth of more than 10 meters. Surrounded by the East and northwest ports is Gangdong village, which is like a peninsula, with only two outlets in the northeast and southwest. On the long and arc-shaped northwest coast, there are six bridges connected with each other, and the Liufang road and wanshuang road become the Huanhu road of Dagang. In the middle of the horn shaped northwest port, there are Xujia ancestral hall and an ancient temple, one of Weizheng and "Sanfeng Chaoyang land". Later, due to the dilapidation, stone steles and stone benches were abandoned.
