Miaogong Township
Miaogang township is located in the northwest of Chaohu City, Hefei City, Anhui Province. It is adjacent to zhegao town in the East, Jianshan and Fucha mountain in the West and Feidong County in the west, and Jiyang town and lananji town in the north and south. The township was originally under the jurisdiction of zhegao Town, and then merged with Fangji township.
The land area is 103.51 square kilometers (2017), with 58000 mu of cultivated land and 21000 mu of mountain farm. Now it has jurisdiction over 8 village committees, 1 neighborhood committee, 217 natural villages with a population of 26082 (2017).
Yandungang township government resident for the township political, economic and cultural center. Yandungang market town covers an area of 1.5 square kilometers, with a permanent resident population of 7300, including 3800 non-agricultural population. Jiyang Zhaoliu highway, 331 provincial highway and Hechaowu Expressway run through the territory.
Historical evolution
Miaogang Township People's Government merged with Fangji Township in the spring of 1992. Original Fangji Township People's Government: in January 1949, Yingshui and Yanshan Township People's governments were established in tangtouwang and Dagao villages respectively. In August 1950, Yingshui township was abolished and people's governments of Fangji and Qingjian townships were established in fanglaolaowa and zhoujiawa respectively. In 1952, some villages were separated from Qingjian Township, and Ludian township was added. Yanshan township was merged into Fangji Township in September 1954. In January 1956, Dianlu township was merged into Qingjian township. In February 1957, the two townships were merged into Miaogong Township People's government, and in October of the same year, they were changed into Fushan Township People's government. Fushan people's commune was established in October 1958 and renamed Miaogong commune in April 1959. In June 1961, the original jurisdiction of Fangji and Qingjian townships was delimited from Miaogong commune and became Fangji commune. After the cultural revolution in May 1966, the Revolutionary Committee was established in September 1968. In December 1981, the commune reform committee was abolished and the commune management committee was established. In 1984, the commune system was abolished and the Township People's government was restored. It was incorporated into Miaogong Township in 1992. Original Miaogang Township People's Government: in January 1949, Shuangji and Shengli Township People's governments were established in Dahu village and qianliufen village respectively. In May 1950, Shengli township was changed into Yanggang township. In January 1952, Shuangji township was abolished and people's governments of Jianshan, Tongji and Miaogang townships were established. In April 1954, Tongji and Jianshan townships were merged into Miaogong township. In January 1956, Yanggang township was merged into Miaogong township. In February 1957, Fangji and Qingjian townships were merged, and in October of the same year, they were renamed Fushan Township People's government. Fushan people's commune was established in October 1958. It was renamed Miaogong people's commune in April 1959. In June 1961, the original area of Fangji township was separated and Miaogong and Fangji people's commune were established. In May 1966, the Cultural Revolution began. The Miaogong commune reform committee was established in September 1968. In December 1981, the commune reform committee was abolished and the management committee was established. In January 1984, the people's commune system was abolished and the Township People's government was restored. In 1992, Fangji township was incorporated into the city. When the township was merged in 1992, it had 33 village committees: Jiuli, Qingjian, yangwang, Jianzhou, fenwang, Ludian, Shanzhou, Fangji, Fushan, Jiulong, HUTANG, Daiwa, jungao, Hexin, Qinlong, Xushan, Dongshan, Jianshan, Luji, Songgang, Tongji, Dawu, Miaogang, Yanggang, Xifeng, Tongtan, Tanchong, Luwang, Lianhua, Qili, Dongliao, Wangchong and Miaogang In 1995, it was merged into 17 village committees, namely Jiuli, Qingjian, fenwang, Ludian, Fangji, HUTANG, jungao, Qinlong, Yanshan, Jianshan, Tongji, Dawu, Tongtan, Yanggang, Dongliao, Lianhua and Miaogang neighborhood committees. In April 2006, it was merged into nine village (neighborhood) committees, namely Qingjian, Ludian, Fangji, jungao, Yanshan, Jianshan, Tongji, Tongtan and Lianhua neighborhood committees. It is the only Township in Chaohu City.
geographical environment
The territory belongs to hilly area, with undulating hills and ridges. The ground elevation is between 8-55 meters above sea level, and Feidong County is bounded by longcha ridge watershed in the West. The highest mountain is Luocha mountain, 418 meters above sea level.
natural resources
There are 1 small (1) reservoir, 3 small (2) reservoirs and 15 wanfangdatang reservoirs in the township. Among the crops, rice, wheat, beans and potatoes are the main crops, while rape, peanuts, cotton, Hongda melon and Jingguo are the main economic crops. The mineral deposits include magnetite, granite, dissolution limestone, quartzite, etc. In the hidden bedrock exposed in Fucha mountain, there are bedrock fissure water, Longquan, Ruquan and many other mineral springs. Groundwater is widely distributed and abundant.

Lu Yanzhou
Born on October 3, 1928 in Miaogang Township, Chaohu City, Hefei City, Anhui Province, he was a peasant family. As a child, he experienced hardships, farming land and cattle. He studied in private school for several years and went to middle school for two years. After joining the revolutionary team, he laid a foundation for his future creation by self-study. In the early 1950s, he was engaged in literary work and then focused on literary creation. In 1954, he began to publish his novels, and then published a steady stream of works. Ten years after the cultural revolution, he stopped writing for ten years, and then his works gushed out. A large number of his novels and essays have caused wide influence at home and abroad, and won many awards. Li Weinong
Li Weinong
(1895-1925) revolutionary martyrs. Originally named Li Erzhen, he is a native of fangjizheng village, Miaogang Township, Chaohu City, Hefei City, Anhui Province. In 1912, he was admitted to Wuhu No.2 agricultural middle school. When the May 4th Movement broke out, he was one of the organizers of Wuhu student movement. Later, he went to France to work and study. He became a member of the Communist Party of China in 1922. At the end of 1923, he went to Moscow Oriental University to study. At the beginning of 1925, he returned to China and was sent by the CPC Central Committee to work in Shandong provincial Party committee. On April 19, workers in Qingdao Dakang cotton mill went on strike. He contacted other mills for support. At the height of the strike, he served as secretary of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee. The strike lasted 22 days and won. On May 29, the Japanese aggressors colluded with warlord zhang Zongchang to create the appalling "Qingdao Massacre". The next day, another May 30th massacre took place in Shanghai. He led the "Shanghai Qingdao massacre support association" and persisted in the struggle. He was arrested on July 26 and died on July 29. Fang Fang Mao, formerly known as Fang Changsheng, joined the party in 1939 and became the first county magistrate in Chao County in 1949. After the crossing of the Yangtze River, he was transferred to Huainan as deputy mayor of the Secretary General.

Male, born in May 1953, from xianziwa village, Fangji, Miaogang Township, Chaohu City, Hefei City, Anhui Province. He is a poet, couplet writer and calligrapher. In 1994, he was named as "ten show in couplet circle" by Chinese couplet Association. At the age of 16, he became a construction apprentice and entered the society. By the primary school culture self-study, obtained the Anhui University graduation certificate and the national self-study talent honorary certificate. Since the early 1970s, more than 2000 manuscripts have been published at home and abroad. He is good at couplets, prefaces and postscripts and calligraphy. In 1990, the world animal anecdote was published by Anhui literature and Art Publishing House. In 1991, it was serialized in modern youth magazine in Taiwan. In 1992, it was edited by Chaohu poetry couplet Association. In 1993, it was published as an integrated volume of Chinese folktales. In 1994, it was held in Manila Hua Yiyin, an international exhibition of calligraphy and painting, was awarded the title of "ambassador of international cultural exchange" by the Philippines in 1996. In 1997, Chinese couplet newspaper compiled the book "Fang Keyi, the elite of couplet circles", which was published by international culture publishing company. Calligraphy works are published, exhibited, collected and engraved in many scenic spots. In 1997, he was invited to participate in the "Seoul exhibition of 9 Korean and Chinese Calligraphers' works in the 20th century" and the "Brazil international calligraphy and painting exchange exhibition". He has been employed as honorary president of China Shenmo calligraphy and painting academy, consultant of China Shenmo stele forest, Shengquan stele forest and valley stele forest, consultant of Korea Daejeon ink Research Association, consultant of World Association of calligraphers and painters, and Secretary General of China Yiyin Shenmo poetry calligraphy and painting International Exhibition Committee (Chinese side). He is now chairman / party secretary of Chaohu Literary Federation of Anhui Province.
