Lanlanji town belongs to Chaohu City, Anhui Province, which is located at the junction of Chaohu City, Feidong County and Quanjiao County, and belongs to the northern edge of Chaohu City. Historical evolution

Balustrade market town, historically known as nangangji, is the central market town at the junction of Chaohu, Hefei and Chuzhou. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it had a great reputation. It was a necessary place for business travel from Hefei to Nanjing in the east-west direction and from Dingyuan to Wuhu in the north-south direction. The market trade was very developed. It was one of the ancient trade market towns in Chaohu City, with the reputation of "little Hong Kong". After liberation, balustrade township was set up, belonging to Feidong County; in 1969, Guichao county was designated, and balustrade commune was established; in 1992, Qinggang Township and balustrade Township were merged into balustrade township; in October 1995, Anhui provincial government approved the establishment of balustrade town. In 2005, Zhaoliu town was merged into lanlanji Town, with an area of 120.86 square kilometers.
