Haishan Township, located in Yueqing Bay in the northwest of Yuhuan City, Zhejiang Province, is close to the sea on all sides. It faces Chumen Peninsula in the East, Yucheng street and Lupu town in Yuhuan island in the south, Yueqing City in the West and Wenling City in the north across the sea. Historical evolution

Development status

The aquaculture industry of the township has begun to take shape, with a horizontal bed of ten thousand mu mud clam breeding base. Haishan tidal power station, built in 1975, is the earliest one-way full tidal energy storage power station with double reservoirs in China.
