Zhuao town is located in the west of Sanmen County, 12 kilometers away from the county, Ninghai County of Ningbo City in the north, Tiantai County in the northwest, and Linhai City in the southwest. The total area of the town is 83.41 square kilometers (2017), including 5447 mu of cultivated land. It has jurisdiction over 38 administrative villages with a total population of 40950 (2017). The town government is located in Zhuao village. Ningbo Taizhou Wenzhou Expressway and 304 provincial road pass through the territory, with convenient transportation, well-informed information and rich private capital.
