Mo Huan Township

Mohuan township is located in the northeast of Longyou County, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province, 12 kilometers away from the county in the south, bordering Shuiting town and youbu town of Lanxi City in the East, Qujiang River in the south, Tashi town and Xiaonanhai town in the west, and Hengshan Town in the north.

It governs 15 administrative villages of Lantang, maoshengwan, xiachishan, xiapingshan, Qianjia, wangbeidou, Dongxu, Xiyuan, Baima, Dazhi, Qiaotou, jiangtangdi, fengjikun, Jujia and yebaotang, 9 kilometers away from the county.

Chaoyang township was named in 1949, Shiyuan township was renamed in 1950, Huzhen township was merged in 1956, Shiyuan commune was established in 1961, and Shiyuan township was rebuilt in 1983. In 1996, it covers an area of 21 square kilometers and has a population of 6000. It governs 11 administrative villages in Qianqian, SHANGBAN, duimenjiang, Xiadian, Shiyuan, Xifan, HuLong, waqiaotou, Jiangjia, qiaotoujiang and gaogeng. In December 2005, due to the adjustment of township administrative divisions, it was formed by the merger of three townships, namely modhuan, Lantang and Shiyuan. With a total area of 77.3 square kilometers, it governs 23 administrative villages with a population of 30815 (2017). With convenient transportation, Hangzhou Jinzhou Quzhou Expressway and national highway 320 pass through the territory, and cement roads connect every village.
