Tashi Township

Tashi Township, Wucheng District, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province, is located in the southwest of Jinhua City. It connects Shafan Township in the East, Suichang County in Lishui City in the south, Longyou County in Quzhou City in the West and lingshang and Xinfan townships in the north. It is the junction of Jinhua City, Lishui City and Quzhou City. The township government is located in Tashi natural town.

Tashi township of Wucheng District is located in the southwest border of Jinhua City, connecting Shafan Township in the East, Suichang County in Lishui City in the south, Longyou County in Quzhou City in the West and lingshang and Xinfan Township in the north. It is the junction of Jinhua City, Lishui City and Quzhou City. The township government is located in Tashi natural town. Tashi township is known as "xiaolanxi" (according to the 1993 edition of Jinhua township). Before liberation, it was the seat of Tashi district office. From 1982 to 1992, it was the public seat of the CPC Tashi District Committee and district. In May 1993, Tashi Township and Shankeng Township were merged into Tashi township. The township has 30 administrative villages and 60 natural villages, with a total population of 4084 (in 2017). The administrative area is 109.7 square kilometers, with 505 hectares of arable land and 8214 hectares of forest land.
Tashi township is a mountainous Township, 60 kilometers away from Jinhua City. The territory is surrounded by mountains. In the southwest, there are many peaks with an altitude of 1000 meters. Xiaojinzhujian is the highest peak in Jinhua city with an altitude of 1336 meters, and xiaolongcongjian is the second highest peak with an altitude of 1324 meters. Jiufeng, with its clear and bright water source in our Township, is the catchment area of Qiantang River. There are 8000 hectares of forest, 93% of which are defined as "national ecological public welfare Park". There are many ancient and famous trees such as Hongdoushan. There are more than 50 kinds of national wild animals, such as horned musk deer, goats, pangolins, Agkistrodon acutus, tiger frog, owl and so on. All over the mountains and fields are excellent habitats for wild animals, showing the harmonious beauty between human and nature everywhere.
"Good mountains, good water and good scenery" is the favorite saying of the guests who have been to Tashi. Indeed, the trees here are lush, the wind blows and the branches shake, which can be called the forest sea, the birds sing and insects talk in the mountains; the spring water flows down the pool, the waterfalls merge into a stream, the crabs and fish walk in the water; the fields are green, the hills are long, the cangao are stacked, the people in Fanli hoe cattle and plow; the cooking smoke curls up, the old houses and new buildings are close to each other, so the village is quiet and peaceful, which is a natural scenery.
