Shanchuan township is located in the south of Anji County, bordering Yuhang District in the East, Lin'an District in the South and Tianhuangping town in Anji County in the northwest. The total administrative area is 46.72 square kilometers, under the jurisdiction of 6 administrative villages, 43 villager groups, 5363 people (2017). Among the six administrative villages, two were named as provincial comprehensive well-off demonstration villages, one provincial civilized village, two municipal civilized villages and four county-level civilized villages by the provincial Party committee and the county government. All social undertakings in the territory are developing rapidly. At the same time, the environmental improvement work of Dali and Beinong villages was completed with high standards. Through the environmental improvement, the appearance and environmental sanitation of the villages were significantly improved, and 92.3% of the people in the township benefited.
