Taiyuan City Vocational and technical college is a public comprehensive higher vocational college approved by the people's Government of Shanxi Province and officially registered by the Ministry of education. The college is located in the west of Shengli Bridge in Taiyuan City, with elegant environment and convenient transportation. The college covers an area of nearly 200 mu, with advanced teaching, training, living, sports and other facilities and equipment. Among them, the construction technology training base is the national training base, the building materials laboratory has become the only national building material testing point in Higher Vocational Colleges in our province, and the e-commerce and Mechatronics professional training base is the training base supported by the national finance. Wang Maolin, former Secretary of Shanxi provincial Party committee, has a "library donated by Wang Maolin" in our college. The college has urban construction department, engineering economics department, information engineering department, business administration department, mechanical and electrical engineering department, accounting department, art design department and basic teaching department, covering three major groups of modern architecture, modern manufacturing and modern service. At present, there are more than 5000 students, 238 full-time teachers, including 4 doctors and 87 masters, 66 teachers with senior titles, and 114 teachers with "double quality".
