Renmin Road is one of the main streets in Huzhou. It runs through the center of the city. It starts from the north gate of the city and points to the west side of Luotuo bridge. It connects with Hongqi Road. It crosses the bridge and connects with the East Street and connects with the North Street in the East. The road was built in 1958. On the basis of the narrow streets of Taihe square, queganxia and bawangmen street, the old houses on the east side were demolished and the ancient Yunliang river was filled. It is 1193 meters long and 2 meters wide 4 meters. The south section of the road is the business district. The former bawangmen street in the north section of Renmin Road is the bawangmen street in the north main gate of Huzhou City. According to the records of Huzhou Prefecture in Wanli of Ming Dynasty. "Bawang Temple of Western Chu was built in Bianshan mountain in the north of the county. It was named Xiangwang temple to worship feather. At the end of Liang Tianjian (502-519 AD), the eunuch Xiao Chen was first built in the north of the state. Today, there is a temple in Fengsheng gate of the county, which is called ribawang temple. Its gate is called Bawang gate." The name of bawangmen is still used today. The temple was destroyed long ago without any remains. North Street is an ancient street in Huzhou. It starts from Linhu bridge near humenwai in the north, connects with Huancheng North Road, and extends southwest to luotuoqiaotu. It is 702 meters in length and 6 meters in width. It is divided into three sections: upper, middle and lower. In 1966, it was renamed Gongnong Road during the cultural revolution. Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, the old stone pavement was rough. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, the asphalt pavement was paved, which is the main street and business district of the city. North Ring Road used to be a city wall base in the northeast of old Huzhou. Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, the city wall collapsed and blocked traffic. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, the demolished city walls were demolished, the roadbed was leveled, the stones were paved, and the asphalt was poured to form a flat Avenue. Gongyuan road was formerly known as Zicheng lane. Huzhou government was originally Huzhou Zicheng. According to the records of Huzhou Prefecture in Tongzhi edition of the Qing Dynasty, "Tongji of Zicheng was the hometown of Xiang Wang in Qin Dynasty.". At the end of Qin Dynasty, Xiang Liang, the general of Chu, was stationed in Wu. When he occupied Huzhou, the city was built and demolished, but the Zicheng lane was still used in the north of the site. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was changed into Park Road.
