Jiekeng Township, located in the Northwest Mountainous Area of Yongjia County, Zhejiang Province, is located in the upstream of xiaonanxi, with a total area of 80.27 square kilometers (2017). It connects xixiaxiang in the north, Xi'ao community in xunzhai town in the south, Jinyun in the west, Xianju in the north and yingkeng community in Bilian town in the East. It has 11 administrative villages, 32 natural villages, 114 villager groups, 5628 people (in 2017), 347.4 hectares of cultivated land (281.9 hectares of paddy field, 65.5 hectares of dry land) and 7662 hectares of forest land. Historical evolution

Jiekeng is located in the northwest of Yongjia County. It belongs to 46 capitals of Qingtong Township in Qing Dynasty. It was called jiekeng Township in the Republic of China and belongs to Bilian district. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, its name was changed several times. In September 1958, four districts of Yongqiang, Wutian, Sanxi and Tengqiao on the South Bank of Oujiang River and two towns of Yongzhong and Quxi were assigned to Wenzhou City. After that, the county was divided into eight districts and 69 townships and towns, which were subordinate to Sichuan district. In 1958, in accordance with the resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the establishment of people's communes in rural areas, towns and townships were abolished, and the integration of government and society was implemented. Jiekeng township was changed into a production unit, first known as jiekeng production brigade, and then as jiekeng management area. In July 1961, the district level people's commune was abolished and the jiekeng people's commune management committee was established. In July 1984, the people's commune system was abolished and renamed jiekeng Township People's government. In 1990, it had jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages, 31 natural villages and 117 villager groups. In 2010, the division of Yongjia County was adjusted, jiekeng township was merged into xunzhai Town, and jiekeng office was established. In 2012, it was changed into jiekeng Community Management Committee. In 2016, the people's Government of jiekeng township was re established and established on May 11.

Jiekeng middle school: located in the Northwest Mountainous Area at the junction of Yongjia, Jinyun and Xianju counties. Founded in February 1970, jiekeng commune middle school was a full-time ordinary junior high school. At that time, the training goal was to provide qualified freshmen for the upper level schools and train qualified junior high school graduates for the society. The enrollment number was 120. In September 1978, jiekeng middle school added an agricultural high school class, which enrolled 56 students for two years. Since the second half of 1984, jiekeng middle school has changed from a two-year system to a three-year system, with 302 students and 16 teaching staff. The management system is no longer under the jurisdiction of the Township Center, and it has become an independent ordinary junior middle school. jiekeng primary school: in 2017, there were 20 teachers (including 17 primary school teachers and 3 kindergarten teachers) and 248 students (including 190 primary school students and 58 kindergarten freshmen). The school started in 1949 and the teaching building was rebuilt in 2005. CITIC campus of jiekeng primary school: in 2017, there were 6 teachers and 17 students. The school has a history of more than 70 years. In January 1999, the school building was burned down due to the fire. Hangzhou branch of CITIC Industrial Bank donated 520000 yuan to rebuild the school in 2000. Yangzhuang primary school was renamed as CITIC primary school.

It has two sides of cliffs and naturally grows into porphyry, so it is named as grouper. Umbrella rock, also known as mushroom rock, is located more than 500 meters northwest of qianyantou. A huge rock stands on the ridge, about 50 meters high. It is like a giant umbrella supporting Guangyu, which can hold dozens of people to shelter from the sun and rain. Kengkou village, jiekeng Township, located in the northwest of Yongjia, has a unique style of ancient buildings, dating back to the late Qing Dynasty. There are 26 ancient buildings in the village. The oldest house is 150 years old, with two remaining. The village has beautiful scenery, and there are 2500 long pithead ancient roads in the village, which has rich tourism value. It has been included in the list of the first batch of Provincial Traditional Villages in Zhejiang Province.
