Zhuangyuan street is under the jurisdiction of Longwan District, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is located in the west of Longwan District and on the South Bank of the lower reaches of Oujiang River. It covers an area of 14.15 square kilometers and has a population of 27400 (at the end of 2008). It has jurisdiction over Zhuangyuan, Longteng and Longze residential areas (communities), and 10 administrative villages including zhuangyuanqiao, Hengjie, yushiqiao, shanxi'ao, sanlangqiao, Xitai, gan'ao, daaoxi, xiangdongyan and Shitan. The office is located at 78 Longfei road. Airport Avenue and Wenzhou Taizhou Ningbo Expressway cross the border, and there is a natural port of Zhuangyuan port. Historical evolution

In 1949, it belonged to Zhuangyuan township of Yongjia County. In 1961, it was changed into a commune. In 1980, it was established as a town. In 1984, it was divided into Longwan District. In 1997, it covers an area of 14 square kilometers and has a population of 23000. It has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages including zhuangyuanqiao, Hengjie, yushiqiao, shanxi'ao, Xitai, Shitan, sanlangqiao, gan'ao, daaoxi and xiangdongyan, as well as Zhuangyuan neighborhood committee. Before 2001, he was the resident of the district government. In 2002, it had jurisdiction over three neighborhood committees, including zhuangyuanqiao, Longteng and Longze; ten village committees, including zhuangyuanqiao, Hengjie, yushiqiao, Shanxi, Xitai, Shitan, gan'ao, sanlangqiao, daaoxi and xiangdongyan; and a fishery brigade. By the end of 2008, it had jurisdiction over three residential areas of Zhuangyuan, Longteng and Longze, 10 administrative villages of zhuangyuanqiao, Hengjie, yushiqiao, shanxi'ao, sanlangqiao, Xitai, gan'ao, daaoxi, xiangdongyan and Shitan, and the town government was stationed at 78 Longfei road. In 2011, the town was removed and streets were set up, with jurisdiction over 2 communities, 1 residential area and 10 administrative villages.
