The origin of place names

It is said that during the reign of emperor an of the Eastern Han Dynasty, a woman named Cao E was very filial to her parents. She cried day and night along the river in search of her father's body. She threw herself into the river to find her father and died. Later generations called this river Cao'e River, and respected Cao'e as the empress. Cao'e hall was built on the Bank of the river and the body was made of gold. Later, it was said that Cao E's mother wanted to go to the East China Sea in a dream. People carried the statue all the way to the East. When they passed through the current beach, the statue could not be lifted any more. So people thought it was a treasure land. Then Shaoxing people came to settle down, making this desolate beach a young and vibrant town. The place name was little Cao E, and there was a poem to prove it: "Cao E" I have no intention of returning to the sky.
