Xidian

Xidian town belongs to Ninghai County, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. It is located in the south of Ningbo City, the West Bank of Xiangshan Port and the north gate of Ninghai County. It is the traffic fortress of three counties in the south of Ningbo. The land area is 102.3 square kilometers, the sea area is 26.7 square kilometers, and the built-up area is nearly 10 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 22 administrative villages (48 natural villages), with a permanent resident population of nearly 100000, including about 45000 immigrants.

China's largest flashlight production base has more than 1200 flashlight related enterprises, accounting for 70% of China's flashlight production.

Historical evolution

the tang dynasty

In 763, a war in the "an Shi rebellion" in Xidian left a place name for Xidian.

the ming dynasty

In 1370, in the third year of Hongwu (1370), the inspection department of iron yard was set up here to prevent Japanese pirates.

Qing Dynasty

In 1867, Christianity built the first church in Xidian, and imperialist church forces invaded Ninghai.

The Qing government set up a tax bureau here to collect taxes on past merchants. In the Qing Dynasty, it was a place for flood prevention at sea. It set up Xidian for flood prevention and stationed troops to defend the sea.

In 1881, the leader of Linhai peasant uprising, Wang Jinman, led the rebel army to attack xidianli Bureau, opposing the government's excessive tax collection.

resistance against Japanese aggression

The Japanese invaders invaded Xidian many times, and the county government stationed heavy troops here for defense, and fought many times.

On June 29, 1945, the Japanese aggressors captured Ninghai County and on August 16, 1945, they withdrew from Ninghai County.

The Republic of China

On April 21, 1949, Chiang Kai Shek, Song Meiling and his entourage went from Xikou, Fenghua, along Fenghai road to Xidian, and through the village to Xidian primary school. There was a picture of Sun Yat Sen hanging on the hall of sight. Chiang Kai Shek bowed three times, then went to tuanjiao, 2 kilometers east of Xidian, took the "Taikang" warship, and then turned to Taiwan.

1990

Xidian flashlight industry started.

2000

A total of 120 entrepreneurs of peasant origin in Xidian town contracted a civil aviation flight to Guangzhou to attend the 88th Canton Fair, which caused a sensation in Yangcheng. More than 30 media, including Xinhua news agency, reported on the topic of "what's new at the Canton Fair: Chinese peasants charter flights to attend the Canton fair".

2001

Xidian has become the largest town level flashlight production base in China.

2003

It is the first time to enter the top 20 towns in Ningbo (except 57 streets, there are 91 towns), ranking 16th.

2007

It is the first time to enter the top 100 towns in Zhejiang Province (except 304 streets, there are 1111 towns in Zhejiang Province), ranking 91st.

2010

Xidian became one of the first eight pilot towns in Ningbo.

The other seven towns are Cixi Guanhaiwei town, Cixi Zhouxiang Town, Yuyao Simen Town, Yinzhou bazhangzhen Town, Cicheng Town of Jiangbei District, Xikou town of Fenghua, and Xiangshan Shipu town. There is only one pilot town in almost every county-level area, which shows the status of Xidian in Ninghai.

2014

Xidian was shortlisted for the pilot expansion of small city cultivation in Zhejiang Province.

In 2014, the latest batch of 3675 key towns in China was announced. Among them, 137 towns in Zhejiang were selected, 21 towns in Ningbo were listed, and Xidian town in Ninghai County was listed again.

2015

On February 4, 2015, the State Oceanic Administration has reviewed and approved the construction sea use planning of Ningbo satellite city (Xidian) region. This indicates that the planned area of 2.8 square kilometers of sea area has a "use certificate", which provides policy support and resource guarantee for the development of Xidian new town.

On June 18, 2015, Xiangshan Port regional space protection and utilization planning 2013-2030 (Revision) was published by the Municipal Planning Bureau. Involving Yinzhou, Beilun, Fenghua, Ninghai, Xiangshan five counties, 23 towns. The central towns mainly include Ninghai Xidian, Xiangshan Xizhou, Fenghua songao, etc. Xiangshan Port Area will be built into Victoria port in Zhejiang Province.

2017

The nine selected towns in Ningbo include jishigang town of Haishu District, Cicheng Town of Jiangbei District, Xikou town of Fenghua District, Simen Town of Yuyao City, Zhouxiang town of Cixi City, Guanhaiwei town of Cixi City, Xidian town of Ninghai County, Shipu town of Xiangshan County and Xizhou town of Xiangshan County.

As early as 2011, Zhejiang Province started the first batch of small city cultivation pilot work at the provincial level. Longgang was among the first to make the list. In the first batch, 27 strong towns were included in the pilot work plan of small city cultivation, including four towns under the jurisdiction of Ningbo, including Xiangshan Shipu, Cixi Zhouxiang, Yuyao Simen and Fenghua Xikou.

Then in 2014, Zhejiang announced the second batch of small city cultivation plans, adding 9 central towns and 7 county towns on the basis of 27 pilot towns. Ningbo's Ninghai Xidian and Jiangbei Cicheng were shortlisted.

According to the third batch of small city cultivation plan from 2017 to 2019, the number of shortlisted towns in Ningbo has increased to 9. In addition to the six towns mentioned above, jishigang town in Haishu District, Guanhaiwei town in Cixi district and Zhouzhen town in Xiangshan District have been added.

From July 27 to August 2, the Ministry of housing and urban rural development announced the second batch of 276 Characteristic Towns in China. In order to implement the deployment of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on promoting the construction of characteristic towns, according to the notice of the Ministry of housing and urban rural development on several Issues Concerning Maintaining and highlighting the characteristics of characteristic towns (Jiancun No. 144) and the recommendation of the general office of the Ministry of housing and urban rural development on the second batch of national characteristic towns According to the notice (No. 357 Jian ban Cun Han), 276 towns, including Yanqi Town, Huairou District, Beijing, are to be identified as the second batch of national characteristic towns on the basis of local recommendation, on-site defense and expert review.

Xidian Village

After the reform and opening up in 1978, Xidian business has developed rapidly, and the market trade has been unprecedentedly active. The trade sites were originally concentrated in the old streets 400 meters long and 4 meters wide, far from meeting the needs. A comprehensive market covering an area of 4 Mu was opened up in the middle of the village. The per capita income is 260 yuan, reaching 2000 yuan in 1992, which is rated as one of the "well-off villages" by the county. More than 85% of the villagers have built new houses, most of which are three storeys. The residential areas are extended to the direction of Houshan and maibuling, and the industrial and commercial areas are extended to the East. The area of the built-up area is three times that of the old Xidian village.

In 1984, a new school building covering an area of 15 mu was built in the north of the village (the former Xidian primary school building borrowed from Baihe temple and Christian Church). There are six classes in the primary school and three classes in the kindergarten.

In 1990, the cement road of Xidian cement plant (now the former site of Senhai Haoting) was changed into a commercial street, called Binhai Road. It is east-west, 600 meters long and 18 meters wide. Build waterworks, and every household can use tap water. All streets and alleys have been named and numbered, concrete pavement has been laid, and the old stone road and mud road have disappeared.

With 8 cleaners, specializing in street cleaning and sanitation work, the county was named civilized village. Set up a closed-circuit television, every family can receive clear TV programs.

In 1991, the total industrial output value of Xidian town reached 102 million yuan, realizing "over 100 million yuan", ranking first in all rural towns in the county. The total industrial output value of Xidian village accounts for more than 50% of the town.

In 1992, the whole village had 126 mu of arable land, less than 2% per capita, and a large number of labors turned to industry and tertiary industry. Tiejiang East Road, which is parallel to Binhai Road, is 300 meters long and 20 meters wide. A green belt is left in the middle. Concrete pavement has been paved. Street houses on both sides have more than three floors. 555 shops and 850 people have been set up on both sides of the street and in small commodity markets.

We have a wide range of commodities. The total retail sales of commodities is more than 30 million yuan. In the east of the village, a new farmer's market (now Xidian market) is built, covering an area of 15 mu. It has a covered roof, a concrete floor, and a built-in goods platform with 4 rows and 24 rows of 316 ceramic tile pavements.

The original comprehensive market was changed into a small commodity market with more than 300 stalls. In the past 10 days, the three cities have evolved into cities every day. There are more than 450 stalls set up every day to catch up with the market, and the number of people who go on the market is often four or five thousand, or more than ten thousand. Japan's trade turnover is about 60000 yuan, with an annual turnover of more than 20 million yuan.

In 2006, Xidian village was composed of Xidian and Zhengjia, covering an area of 1.5 square kilometers.

The registered residence is 1880, with more than 1580 migrants and nearly 3500 residents (2006). The total social output value was 1 billion yuan, and the total assets of the village collective was 10.29 million yuan.

In 2009, there were more than 220 industrial enterprises in the village, with a per capita net income of 22378 yuan.

Zhangshu Village

It consists of two camphor trees and 3.13 villages, and the village area is about 3.13 square kilometers. The total registered residence in the village is 1511 households and 4020 people (20).
