Xiaya town

Xiaya town is located in the middle of Jiande City, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, bordering yangcunqiao town in the East, Mamu Township across the river in the south, Xin'anjiang street, Yangxi street and Lianhua town in the west, Xiabao township of Qiantan town and Fuwen township of Chun'an County in the north. It is 12 kilometers away from Xin'anjiang street, the main urban area of Jiande. The town is a semi mountainous area with high terrain in the northwest and low terrain in the southeast, narrow valleys in the north and low hills in the southeast. Xin'an River flows through the southwest of the territory, and national highway 320 passes through the territory. Xiaya town is located in the middle section of Xin'anjiang River in Hangzhou's "two rivers and one lake" scenic spot. The origin of town name

Xin'an River flows eastward to this point, blocked by Pingshan, and turns to the south. In the era of water transportation, it was one of the main berths for ships. Because it is located at the Bank of Xin'an River and under Pingshan mountain, it takes Yupian as an example The meaning of the quay is xiaya, also known as the village. As a place name, the earliest written records can be found in the "xiayapu" in the "renewal of Yanzhou Prefecture annals · Jiande county map" in Wanli of Ming Dynasty. The town got its name from its location.

From May 23 to the middle of June 1981, Zhejiang Province, Hangzhou city and Jiande county formed a joint working group to carry out a pilot project of mountain forest tenure certification in Dazhou commune. In 1998, the strawberry greenhouse planting area of the whole town reached 2478 mu, and the monthly throughput reached more than 1000 tons in the peak season of production and marketing. It is one of the main producing areas of "Xin'anjiang" brand strawberry. This year, the town's fiscal revenue reached 2.8 million yuan, and the total rural economic revenue reached 100 million yuan.

Traffic location

Xiaya has convenient transportation, 12 kilometers away from the main urban area. There is No.4 bus in the city. Xiaya is the only passage of Hangzhou Qiandao Lake Huangshan golden tourist line. It has smooth water and land. The highway is Hangzhou Xinjing Expressway and national highway 320. It has entered the planning and design of Linjin Expressway and will also cross the south. History and culture

Xiaya town has a long history. Sun Shao, the great general under Sun Quan, grew up here. It is precisely because Sun Shao was granted the title of "Marquis of Jiande", which means "meritorious service and morality", that the name of Jiande came into being. Xiaya town also has "Jiande Marquis Temple" and "Fuchun hall" in memory of Sun Shao.

In xiaya, there is also the first female emperor of China recorded in history, Chen shuozhen, the female leader of the peasant uprising in Tang Dynasty. At that time, she uprised and became emperor in xiaya, and called herself "emperor Wenjia". She called herself emperor 65 years earlier than Wu Zetian. It is said that Wu Zetian was also inspired by her. She led her troops to attack Tonglu, Changhua, Jinhua, and she è County in Anhui Province, and finally died in Luofeng mountain, xiaya town. It is said that Chen shuozhen was besieged on the top of the mountain. She waved her double swords, and the army of the Tang Dynasty sent thousands of arrows at the same time. When they wanted to catch Chen shuozhen, a huge Phoenix landed on the top of the mountain and scared off the officers and soldiers. Xiaya is also an important commercial port in ancient times, and there are still ancient dwellings and stone streets. Xin'anjiang forms a zigzag turn in the section of Zhijiang village, xiaya town. It is surrounded by clouds and pleasant climate all the year round. The wetland here has been gradually developed into a photography base. A large number of domestic and foreign photography lovers have come here to create, and many works of xiaya wetland have won awards.

Historical evolution

According to the records of Yanzhou tujing, xiaya town belonged to Jiande Township and cishun township of Jiande county at that time; in the sixth year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty (1578), it belonged to the 11th, 12th, 13th and 15th capitals of Jiande County; in the sixth year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty (1728), it belonged to shanbianzhuang, mamuzhuang, qingshanzhuang, milizhuang and Pancun village of Jiande County; in the eighth year of Guangxu (1882), it belonged to the same area. At the beginning of the Republic of China, it was a dependency of Guanghua District of Xixiang. In 1932, there was a special name of xiaya administrative division. In 1935, after the completion of township consolidation, it was divided into Liren Township, xiayabu Township, Jingxiao Township, Qingshan Township, Taihe Township, Taiping Township and Pancun township.

Before and after liberation, the region was a dependency of Liren Township, Qinmu Township and Pancun township. In the summer and autumn of 1950, Xiaoxiang was designated as xiaya Township, Xucun Township, Dazhou Township, Mamu Township and Nanshi township. In April 1956, Dazhou Township, xiaya Township and Mamu Township were established. In the "people's communization" movement, it successively belonged to Yangxi commune, Nanfeng commune, yangcunqiao commune and Dayang commune. In July 1961, xiaya commune, Dazhou commune and Mamu commune were established. In April 1983, xiaya was changed into a township, and in December, Dazhou and Mamu were also changed into townships. Strawberry planting area of 6200 mu, accounting for more than one third of the city, is an important producing area of Xinanjiang brand Qiandao silver needle. The tea area of the whole town is 7500 mu, accounting for one ninth of the city. It is the origin of Jiande traditional famous tea "Jiande tea". In 1991, Jiande bud tea was named "China famous tea" at the first China Hangzhou International Tea Culture Festival.
