Guan Zhongzhen

Guanzhen Town, subordinate to Xuyi county, Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province, is a key central town in Jiangsu Province. It is also a commercial and trade circulation center in Hexi District of Xuyi county. It was originally named guangongdian and Guanzhen Town, but later changed to Guanzhong town. It is said that it got its name in memory of Guan Zhong, the Prime Minister of the state of Qi in the spring and Autumn period. At the end of 1985, Sihong County was transferred to Xuyi county for jurisdiction. In June 1994, when the township was withdrawn to build a town, Guanzhen township was changed to Guanzhen township. In July 2018, the township was optimized and Xinglong Township was merged with Guanzhen town to establish Guanzhong town. The town is located in the northwest of the county, 18 kilometers apart. The town is adjacent to Hongze Lake in the north, Huaihe River in the south, Huaihe town in the East and Baoji town in the West. There are ningxu first-class highway and ningsuxu Expressway in the town, with convenient transportation, 15 kilometers away from the county.
