brief introduction

Shahezi horticultural farm, founded in 1958, is located in the western suburb of Ganyu District, adjacent to Qingkang highway in the South and Qingkou River in the north. It is a comprehensive state-owned farm integrating agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, sidelines and architecture.

Infrastructure

Shahezi horticultural farm governs three natural villages, Land Management Institute, agricultural technology service station, water conservancy station, health and epidemic prevention station, family planning service station, veterinary station, pig breeding farm, horticultural farm primary school, duofa construction company, Shayi Industrial Co., Ltd., with a total population of 2381 people (in 2010), and a land area of 5600 mu. At present, there are 3 senior technical personnel, 8 intermediate technical personnel and 25 junior technical personnel. The farm mainly focuses on planting industry. It has 2500 Mu orchard, 800 Mu fruit seedling and flower production base and a high-quality virus-free seedling tissue culture room. It can provide more than 3 million plants (POTS) of green seedlings, flowers and virus-free seedlings to the society every year.

Over the years, it has been an advanced unit in the diversified operation system of the city and county, and has been praised by the higher authorities.
