Sijia town

Sijia town is located in Haimen District, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. Its center is 32 ° 0'46 "n and 121 ° 16'8" E. Located in the north of the city, 25 kilometers away from the city. It borders Shuxun, Yudong and Wanghao in the East, Changle and Desheng in the south, Erjia in Tongzhou District in the West and Huolong in the north. The total investment in fixed assets was 2.272 billion yuan, including 1.665 billion yuan in industry. The per capita net income of farmers is 22661 yuan.

In July 2020, it won the honorary title of national health Township from 2017 to 2019.

Historical evolution

Sijia town has been a land for more than 1500 years.

In Yuan Dynasty, it was buzhouchang, and in Ming Dynasty, it was yuzhongchang.

In the first year of Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty (1736), Yu Zhongchang was merged into Yu Xichang.

In 1938, the Japanese invaders occupied sijiaba and established the puppet Maintenance Association.

In February 1965, the town was abolished and merged into the people's commune of grade 4a.

In 1983, it was renamed Sijia township.

In 1990, Yaogang, Huolong and Yunnan villages were assigned to Huolong town.

In April 2000, Guoqiang town was merged into Sijia town.

In December 2012, Sijia town and Huolong town were abolished, and the areas under the jurisdiction of the former two towns were merged to establish a new Sijia town.
