Yicheng County is located in the southwest of Shanxi Province, under the jurisdiction of Linfen City. Located between Zhongtiao and Taiyue mountains, the county borders Qinshui in the East, Quwo in the west, Fushan and Xiangfen in the north, Jiangxian and Yuanqu in the south. The central and western part of Yicheng County is flat, and loess hills are widely distributed in the transition area between mountain and plain. Most areas are 500-1500 meters above sea level. The highest mountain in the southeast, Lishan shunwangping, at the junction of Yicheng, Yuanqu and Qinshui, is 2358 meters above sea level, and the lowest is 475.2 meters above sea level by the river in the southwest of Xiayang village.
