"Ten thousand arrows pierce the heart" is jointly produced by the program production center of the film channel, Beijing Jindian Film Co., Ltd. and the youth film studio of Beijing Film Academy, directed by Wang Jing and starring Yan Bingyan, Jiao Gang, Li Xian and Zhao Qian. It was released in China on November 16, 2012.
Based on Fang Fang's novel of the same name, the film tells the story of Li Baoli's hard and bumpy life.
Synopsis
In Wuhan in the 1990s, in an ordinary family, Ma Xuewu (Jiao Gang) < / I > is the director of a state-owned enterprise, Li Baoli (Yan Bingyan) < / I > is a hawker in Hanzheng Street, and they have a son, Xiao Bao (Li Xianshi) < / I >. An enterprise housing allocation made the family live in a new house. Unexpectedly, from the day of moving, a series of unexpected changes followed: Ma Xuewu's husband proposed divorce, his wife found that his husband was cheating, and his homeless mother-in-law wanted to live in a new house. Finally, Ma Xuewu took the road of suicide under a series of blows. Baoli's good friend Xiaojing (Zhao Qian) < / I > attributes all the bad luck to the bad feng shui of the new house, calling it "ten thousand arrows pierce the heart", but Li Baoli, a stubborn personality, is unwilling to compromise and is determined to support the family.
