It is said that more than three thousand years ago, King Zhou of Yin Dynasty was immoral, harsh in politics and cruel in punishment. After King Wu of Zhou unified the northwest region, he led 45000 soldiers and 300 chariots to attack the Yin and Zhou dynasties. Eight hundred princes met in Mengjin to discuss the grand plan of defeating the enemy. At that time, Mengjin was an important ferry in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River, and also an important road leading to Chaoge (now Anyang, Henan Province).
