Shen Defu's Ye Huo Bian · CI Lin · Si Liu of Ming Dynasty said: "in this dynasty, Ci Fu was abandoned, but Shizong Fengxuan, who wrote articles to ministers for a while, tried his best to do it. For example, Yan Fenyi, Xu Huating and Li Yuyao recruited famous scholars from home and abroad several times to fight for new skills. For nearly 30 years, few of them could be handed down to later generations."
