Ye Yuanjie, named Zhonglan and Xinshui, was born in Cixi, Zhejiang Province.

Like to write orchid, get the poet ease. I'm counting money with Chijin. Ye Zhonglan, the second son of Ye Wei, was born in 1804. His name is Yuanjie, and his name is Xinshui. He is a native of chipanshan. He has written six volumes of chipanshan manuscript. Ye Yuanjie likes to make friends, loves mountains and rivers, and has a good family background. He loves poetry like fate. He travels everywhere and often works with famous scholars to compose poems. It is recorded in Dong Pei's four poems of Ming and Qing Dynasties: "Zhonglan's family is prosperous, but his temperament is elegant, and he is not in the habit of luxury. His life is devoted to poetry." Ye Yuanjie and Yao Xie met at the age of weak crown, and then "the same researcher" for ten years, and had 16 years of communication. In the spring of 1839, ye Yuanjie gave Yao Xie money and goods to help him go to Beijing for a test. They said goodbye in Nanhe, Ningbo. On the 18th of December of this year, ye Yuanji died of illness.
