Lu yanzhao, also known as Zhongdu, was born in Xin'an, Henan Province. He was the grandson of Lu yaozeng. He was a Juren in the 36th year of Qianlong (1771). He was once the magistrate of Tongzhou and Jiangning. He is intelligent, forthright, and has a strong political voice. You Gongshi had a good friendship with Yuan Mei. Yuan's Suiyuan Shihua recorded many of his poems and wrote Fu Tang poetry anthology.
