Wang Tingjian (1079-1171), with the name of Minzhan, was a native of Anfu (now Jiangxi Province) in Jizhou. The poem is vigorous because of its gentle nature. Zhenghe eight years (1118) ascended Jinshi. When he was transferred to Chaling Cheng, he didn't agree with Shangguan. He abandoned his official and lived in seclusion in Luxi, because he was named himself. In Shaoxing, Hu Quan asked Qin Hui to be beheaded and banished to Xinzhou, and Du Tingyu saw him off with a poem. Sit slander, flow Yelang (one for Lingnan). In June of 1149, leting was sent to Chenzhou (now Hunan Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture and Huaihua area) for management. If Qin Hui dies, he will help himself. In the reign of emperor Xiaozong, he summoned the inner hall and gave it to the master of the Imperial Academy. In 1170, he removed Zhifu Wenge. In 1172, he died of illness at the age of 92. After his death, he was buried on the hillside of Changfu village in Shanzhuang village of Anfu county. Hu Quan wrote an epitaph
Wang Tinggui's student Yang Wanli said that his poems were straightforward (preface to Mr. Lu Xi's works). In 1138, Hu Quan was demoted for offending Qin Hui. Wang Tinggui was not afraid of power and encouraged Hu Quan to be "a man who wants to be strange in the world" ("send Hu bangheng to Xinzhou demotion office"). Later, he wrote a poem praising Hu Quan's "making every effort not to bend his heart" ("Hu bangheng moved to Hengzhou with zuoke Duan Tingzhi rhyme"), which led to disaster. He sympathized with the peasants and wrote down the words of the old peasants in Yinpi Xing, exposing that the construction of irrigation and water conservancy by the imperial court was a "false name". He has lived in the countryside for a long time and has many fresh works. However, some of his poems imitated Huang Tingjian's style, inherited his poems and lacked creativity. His prose and CI were also well-known at that time. He has 50 volumes of Lu Xi Ji, including Ming edition and Siku Quanshu edition. Lu Xi CI is based on Zhao Wanli.
