Born in Yixing, Jiangsu Province in 1940, he is a master of Arts and crafts in Jiangsu Province, a celebrity of Arts and crafts in Jiangsu Province, a member of China Arts and Crafts Association, a deputy director of China Ceramic Association display art porcelain professional committee, a member of China Artists Association Jiangsu Branch, a director of Jiangsu ceramic art society, a vice president and Secretary General of Yixing purple sand culture and Art Research Special Committee.
Personal resume
In 1958, he went to Yixing purple clay craft factory to study art under the guidance of Wu yungen, an old purple clay artist. In the same year, he went to Nanjing Art Institute. In 1961, he graduated from the factory Research Institute and studied art under the guidance of Gu Jingzhou. He has been engaged in the production of purple clay pot art for more than ten years. He has successively served as a technician, deputy section chief and director of Yixing Meishu ceramic factory.
His works contain traditional culture in simplicity, which is his personal style of pot art.
On November 17, 2011, he was awarded the honorary title of the fifth Jiangsu arts and Crafts Master.
Award winning record
In 1982, his works yanzhuhu and zhuchuhu won the second prize of new ceramic product design competition of the Ministry of light industry of the people's Republic of China; in 1990, biyuruyi won the first prize of Jiangsu ceramic art competition; in March 1990, he presided over the research and development of the ceramic container of air fragrance, which won the second prize of national excellent new product of the Ministry of light industry of the people's Republic of China and the golden bull award of Jiangsu excellent new product China, Jiangsu ceramics and other publications.
