Change the original meaning of words, counterattack opponents

By borrowing the opponent's language, the debater skillfully endows the key words with new meanings or changes their grammatical relations to fight back against the opponent.

This method can make use of the attack power of the other side to fight back. The greater the attack power of the other side is, the greater the counterattack power will be. It can often make the opponent catch off guard and humiliate himself. In the annals of the Three Kingdoms, there is a story about Yi Ji's sending an envoy to the east Wu at the order of Liu Bei. Yi Ji successfully used this method to maintain the dignity of the monarch. "The former master of Shu took Yiji as the left general, engaged in Zhonglang, and sent Wu and Sun Quan to argue after hearing about him. When he came to worship, Quan said, "you are the king who works without a way." Ji Yingsheng said to him, "once we worship together, we are not enough for labor." The Lord of Wu is so ashamed that he has nothing to say. " In Sun Quan's words, "Lao" is the meaning of "running to serve". Of course, "Lao" refers to Liu Bei. Yi Ji deliberately "pretended to be deaf and crazy", and took advantage of the opportunity he was giving Sun Quan to kneel down to worship.
