Factors affecting coin collection

Generally, coins are not exchanged according to their face value, and the collection value of coins is generally affected by the following factors:

(1) Time of issue and circulation of coins: generally, the longer the time of issue, the shorter the time of circulation, the greater the collection value. For example, before the Tang Dynasty, even before the Shang and Zhou dynasties, the value of coins is very high.

(2) The number of coins issued is "rare is precious", and coins are no exception. The less money is issued, the higher its value.

(3) Denomination of money: Generally speaking, the higher the denomination of money, the greater its value. Because the circulation of commemorative coins is to commemorate some important historical events, outstanding people or things of special significance, its design, production is exquisite, has a high artistic appreciation and collection value, and most of the commemorative coins are issued by quota, the number is limited, the appreciation potential is great.

(6) The appearance of coins: just like the collection of stamp products, the collection of coins also stresses the appearance of coins. Sometimes, the price of coins with good quality may be tens of times different from that of coins with different quality.
