The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) is a university full of vitality, proud history and outstanding achievements. Its predecessor was the Hong Kong Polytechnic (developed from the Hong Kong Polytechnic and the Hong Kong Government Higher Polytechnic), which was renamed the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1994.
PolyU is located adjacent to the Hung Hom Cross Harbour Tunnel, covering an area of 93500 square meters. In the past decade, PolyU has experienced large-scale and rapid expansion.
