Tianhe floating silk

Tianhe floating silk: it extends from Shougouling, east railway station, CITIC Plaza, Tianhe Sports Center, Central Avenue of Pearl River New Town, Haixinsha island to Chigang in the south of Pearl River. It is the new urban axis of Guangzhou. The most beautiful place on the axis is the green square of East Railway Station and CITIC Square. Especially the waterscape waterfall of Guangzhou east railway station, many people simply call it "Guangzhou Huangguoshu".

brief introduction

Close to the south of the waterfall is the third largest urban green square in China. It covers an area of about 100000 square meters and has a green area of 4.7 hectares. There are antique flower beds in the tomb of Nanyue King, various Lingnan flowers, and waterscape projects in the north of the square, which are divided into four parts: waterfall, fountain, lighting and background music. A large artificial waterfall with a flow rate of about 9000 tons per hour runs down the river and is magnificently illuminated by colorful lights.

Tianhe floating silk is located between the central green square and high platform square of Guangzhou east railway station, which is composed of waterscape waterfall, outer square and inner square. The 89 meter long and 8 meter high glass wall forms the support of the waterscape waterfall. The running water overflows from the high platform and flows into the pool along the glass wall. All kinds of lights are constantly changing, which makes the waterfall shine brilliantly. There is a 9-meter-high sculpture platform on each side of the waterfall, on which a large sculpture with the theme of "Qingliu Flower City" will be placed. Located in front of the waterfall, the outer square is the best place for citizens to gather and enjoy the waterfall. Above the waterfall is a large hydrophilic platform.

Tianhe floating silk is one of the eight sceneries of Yangcheng in the new century. The eight sceneries of Yangcheng in the new century are: the emerald clouds, the night charm of Pearl water, Yuexiu Xinhui, Tianhe floating silk, Liufang ancient temple, the morning light of the fifth ring, the yellow flower and the bright moon, and Lianfeng sea view.
