Luogang scenic spot

Luogang scenic spot is located in Luogang Town, Baiyun District. It is famous for its historic sites and Meilin. At the end of the year and the beginning of the year, dozens of miles of plum trees are in full bloom, and the red makeup makes the fragrant snow of Meihai particularly enchanting. Luogang fragrant snow makes up for the lack of snow scenery in Guangzhou in winter. It is the most famous scenery in Luogang scenic spot. In 1963, it was listed as one of the "eight sceneries of Yangcheng".

Yuyan academy, also known as Luofeng temple, was built in the Southern Song Dynasty. It is one of the earliest academies in Guangzhou. It is a cultural relic protection unit in Guangzhou and one of the main scenic spots in Luogang scenic spot. The overall layout is ingenious and full of changes. There are wonderful flowers and trees everywhere. The fragrance is full of the hall, and the indoor and outdoor green color blend. The whole building is in harmony with the mountain scenery. In the temple, there is a "thousand year old ancient Li" which is still very prosperous, adding a different style to the ancient temple. The Yuyan Academy under Luofeng is the site of Zhongyan's reading and lecturing in the Southern Song Dynasty, and has collected the chants and calligraphy of celebrities after the Song Dynasty. There are mainly inscriptions on "loyalty, filial piety and integrity" by Zhu Xi, a Confucianist in Song Dynasty, four wooden carvings of quatrains written by Wen Tianxiang and bamboo carvings of spring, summer, autumn and winter in Zheng Banqiao in Qing Dynasty. In 2008, Luofeng temple in Luogang scenic spot became a cultural relic protection unit in Guangdong Province.

Tourism information

Transportation: go to Luogang terminal first, then take a taxi or motorcycle. 1. Take No. 257 (10 stops) from Guangzhou railway station to the Armed Police Hospital Station, and then transfer to No. 534 (25 stops) to Luogang station. 2. Take a taxi: a total of 28.5km, cost 80.00 yuan. Note: the cost is for reference only, excluding toll and Bridge toll. Traffic jam and other factors may increase the cost significantly. 3. Take bus B24 (14 stops) to Luogang terminal. 4. Take bus No.21 (10 stops) from Guangzhou railway station to Yinhe yuan station, and then take bus No.534 (24 stops) to Luogang station. Food: there are many village restaurants near the scenic spot. The dishes in the restaurants are all home grown. Because Luogang is close to Zengcheng, Zengcheng's roast chicken is famous and delicious, so the roast chicken in the restaurant near the scenic spot is worth a try!! in the season of plenty of fruit, many people will buy their own fruit.
