Background characters
Wu Fu (1321-1383), born in Dawu village, Badou Town, Feidong County, was born in Hefei. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, with Zhu Yuanzhang's uprising, he repeatedly made war achievements. He was granted Marquis Anlu by virtue of his achievements. After his death, he was granted the title of Duke of Guizhou, posthumous title of "Weiyi".
Hongwu 16 years, Wu Fu garrison in Guizhou Puding. During the reign of Yongle (1403-1424), Wu Fu was appointed as the banjicang Ambassador of Taiping government by his vassal. He promoted Haiyan County (today's Hangzhou City in Zhejiang Province) to be the master of the book, and soon changed it to Wu county (today's Wu County in Jiangsu Province).
In the ninth year of Xuande (1434), he was promoted to the county magistrate of Wu County, and properly handled the case of "hundred monks in the same prison", which saved him from the disaster of "sword fire". Therefore, he won a lot of people's attention and soon transferred to Baixiang County (today's Baixiang County, Hebei Province) and was promoted to the head of the Ministry of work.
At the beginning of Jingtai period (1450), he was the right Minister of the Ministry of industry. He was responsible for harnessing the Yellow River project. He supervised grain storage in Su and song counties, and also supervised Yizhou (now Hebei Province). He was appointed to patrol the border to stabilize public security. He spent money to buy a concubine named Yang. He was 17 years old. They loved each other and lived in harmony. They were very happy. However, due to Wu Fu's many battles, he suffered from a sudden outbreak of golden sores and died in Puding, Guizhou Province. After the funeral, Yang committed suicide. Emperor Taizu named her zhenlie lady.
Introduction to Wu Fu's tomb
Wu Fu's tomb is oriented from east to west. The tomb faces east and West. In front of the tomb is a 10 meter wide Shinto. The hall of enjoyment and the wall of God no longer exist. On the existing Shinto, there are a group of three-dimensional limestone sculptures on both sides of the Shinto. From east to west, there are stone man, stone tiger, stone sheep, stone horse, controlled horse man and Huabiao. Engravers use the combination of hollow relief, exquisite knife, for the late Yuan and early Ming style, vivid image. The stone statues of Shinto have been restored to their original positions, the tombs have been encircled and restored, and the planning of the hall has been completed. During the "Eleventh Five Year Plan" period, the tomb's stone carving declared funds to further repair the third phase of Wu Fu's tomb, so as to give better play to its stone carving art and historical role. Now it is a key cultural relic protection unit in Anhui Province, striving to apply for national protection.
Wufu stone carving
A pair of Shi wengzhong, 2.4 × 1.1 × 0.9 meters (including the base), are all military generals. They are old in the South and few in the north. They wear helmets, belts, boots, hands clasped in front of their chest, and stand upright with their eyes hanging down on the ground with their swords.
A pair of stone tigers, 1.9 × 1.6 × 0.9 meters, squat, small ears, round eyes, wide lips, thick neck, hollow under the abdomen, wearing mane.
A pair of stone sheep, 1.3 × 1.6 × 0.8 meters, kneeling, roll angle, long head, front and back feet, body without hair ornaments.
A pair of stone controlled terracotta horses, the horse and the driver are carved out of the whole huge stone. The process is a combination of hollowing out and relief. On the west side, the horse is carved, 2.1 × 1.8 × 1 m, with long mane and small ears, strong legs, and mouth tied. It is dressed in a cloth with a flower on its surface and a hollow belly. On the east side, the sculptor is wearing a dome cap, a long soap suit, cloud shoes, a long belt, a whip in one hand, a rein in the other hand, and a fist in the other. His face is facing the direction of the tomb to the East.
A pair of stone watchtowers, 2.2 × 0.8m, consists of three parts. The base of the column is hexagonal, the upper part is large and the lower part is small, the middle part is carved with socket and mortar, and the surface is plain; the column body is hexagonal, and the surface is plain; the upper part of the column is a gall free column, and the lower part is a round inverted lotus pedestal. On the south side of Huabiao, about 1 / 3 of the top and upper part of the column are old things, and 2 / 3 of the lower part of the column are new things, and the column base is old things; on the north side of Huabiao, only the column base is old things, and the whole column body and column top are machine tools.
