Ye Jianying memorial garden in Meizhou City

Yanshang village, Yanyang Town, Meixian County is the hometown of Marshal Ye Jianying. The bronze statue is located on the left platform in front of the gate of "Marshal Ye Jianying Memorial Hall" inscribed by President Yang Shangkun. The bronze statue of Ye Shuai, two meters high and weighing nearly one ton, is dressed in a Chinese tunic suit and holding a big round straw hat in his right hand. It sits on a stone and talks with the masses. It vividly shows ye Shuai's fine style of plain living, going deep into the grassroots, being approachable and always getting along with the masses.
