Chenzhou Nanling Botanical Garden
Chenzhou Nanling botanical garden is located in luoxianling, Chenzhou City. It was established in 1989 and has a unified management with Chenzhou Forestry Research Institute (established in 1963). In 2009, it was approved by Hunan Provincial Forestry Department to add the brand of Nanling branch of Hunan forest botanical garden. In April 2010, it was approved by Chenzhou Municipal Office to add the brand of Chenzhou state-owned experimental forest farm. The core management area of the botanical garden is 40.2 hectares, and the joint operation area is 813.3 hectares. The main functions of the work are forestry scientific research, ex situ conservation of species, promotion and demonstration of advanced forestry practical technology, and providing popular science education and leisure places for the public.

The garden is rich in vegetation and lush trees. 2132 species of plants belonging to 860 genera and 188 families are ex situ preserved, including 75 species of national and local key protected plants in Hunan Province, including Cathaya argyrophylla, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Taxus chinensis var. mairei, Keteleeria pubescens and other rare and precious plants known as "plant Panda", Metasequoia glyptostroboides, and Taxus chinensis var. mairei, an ancient species left over from Quaternary glacial period Card files and plant resource database make plant resource management more standardized and scientific.

The park has a collection area of special plants, such as osmanthus garden, cherry garden, Rhododendron Garden, magnolia garden, bamboo garden and linyilan garden.
