Huangjue ancient road is located in the north of Nanshan, Nan'an District, Chongqing, from Shangxin street to huangjueya. It is an ancient road called laojunpo, which is a local scenery. The lower end of the ancient road starts from two places: one is located on the left side of Shangxin Street's Qianfeng Road, which is a middle road paved with a winding bluestone slab along the slope. It is the channel connecting Chongqing city with Longmen haodukou and the main road leading to Sichuan and Guizhou; the other is from Haitang River, which is close to Laojun cave, and a zigzag TIANTI cloud stack. The two roads meet in front of huangjueya pass. According to textual research, the road began in the Tang and Song Dynasties, and since then the crowd has been bustling. The wonderful passage of Huangjue ancient road is also the place where celebrities of past dynasties often pass by, leaving rich inscriptions and poems. During the Anti Japanese War, some of the troops who fought in Burma also passed through this ancient road, which shows that it played an important role in transportation at that time. Before the Huanglong highway was opened to traffic, it was also an important link between Chongqing and huangjueya. Walking on the Qingshiban Road, there are hundreds of years old Jue trees on both sides of Qingshiban mountain path, with thick and dry twigs. Under the shade of the trees, the bluestone path was polished by people coming and going. Huangjue ancient road revival project is a key development project in Nan'an District to tap the potential of tourism resources. The old Huangjue road under repair, like a winding rope, connects the beautiful beads scattered on this side of the Nanshan Mountain, such as the shade of Huangjue, the ancient dwellings, the natural viewing platform of yangjiashan, Baisha tomb, Laojun cave, the German Embassy, Wenfeng tower, etc., making them a new attractive scenic spot in the suburbs of Chongqing.
