Lianhu Park

Lianhu Park, located in songshanling in the center of Qiaotou town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, started construction in March 2000 and completed the first phase of the project on December 31 of the same year. It was opened to tourists free of charge on January 18, 2001. The first phase of the project, with an investment of 8 million yuan, is donated by the villages, enterprises, units, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan compatriots in Qiaotou, as well as enthusiasts inside and outside the town.

The construction of the park absorbs the essence of the garden style of Suzhou, Hangzhou and other places, with antique flavor. It is mainly composed of classical archway, 600 multi-level climbing stone ladder, mid mountain Pavilion, hillside winding path, calligraphy and painting corridor and seven storey sightseeing tower. The names of "Lianhu Park" and "songshanlou" were inscribed by Guan Shanyue, a famous calligrapher and painter. On both sides of the gate building are relief sculptures of lifelike white jade "eight steeds" and "Nine Dragon walls". The long corridor of calligraphy and painting is built along the ridge of the mountain. There are many kinds of paintings, such as flower and bird paintings, landscape paintings, custom paintings, ancient figure paintings and so on. Tang poetry and calligraphy are full of strong cultural atmosphere.

At the top of Songshan Mountain, which is 60 meters above sea level, Songshan tower stands majestically, with an octagonal shape and a height of 38.8 meters. The balustrade around the bottom of the tower is full of white marble relief patterns, and its exquisite technology is amazing. When you climb the tower, you suddenly feel bright and elegant.
