Fuxing Middle Road

Fuxing middle road is an east-west road across Huangpu District and Xuhui District in Shanghai, China. It starts from Xizang South Road (formerly mintiniyin Road) in the East and ends at Huaihai middle road in the west, with a total length of 3494 meters. The road was named route Lafayette before 1943. At that time, it was an east-west trunk road in Shanghai French concession.

In 1914, after the French concession in Shanghai expanded westward and acquired a large area of new concession, the Council of the French Concession filled nanchangbang and built the section between Lvban Road (Chongqing South Road) and Jinfu Road (Ruijin 2nd Road). In 1918, the road extended eastward to the eastern border of the French concession mintiniyin road. In 1922, the road extended westward to Baojian road. In 1931, it extended westward to Xiafei road.

Along the road for residential areas, West more garden houses and apartments, East more Shikumen lane. Along the road, there are Fuxing Park (French Park), cultural square (Yiyuan running dog farm), etc.
