Zhanli Dong Village

Zhanli Dong village is densely forested with fresh air and hardly any modern pollution.

Although the village is small, the people here have created a surprising record: the natural population growth has been zero since liberation, and it is known as "the first village of population culture in China".

Up to now, the total population of 158 Dong families in the village is still controlled at about 700 people. Each family absolutely has only one male and one female, and no one is over born. It has remained unchanged for 50 years. It is a rare treasure in the original national ecological culture.

Introduction to scenic spots

In Congjiang County of Qiandongnan Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, there is a natural village of Dong people called Zhanli. It is hidden in the valley north of Sizhai estuary along the coast of Duliu river at an altitude of 380 meters, only 20 kilometers away from Congjiang County.

Traffic information: Zhanli is located in the valley 20 kilometers north of Congjiang County, but there is no bus, only two mountain roads. It is suggested to charter a car from Congjiang County, about 100 yuan for one way and 150 yuan for round trip.
